BOC bulk gas hoses provide a flexible and dependable solution for a wide range of all type of gas applications. Supplied by the metre, they allow users to create custom hose lengths to suit specific equipment setups, work environments or site requirements.
Manufactured from durable, high-quality materials, these hoses are designed to perform reliably in demanding workshop and industrial conditions. Each hose is produced under strict quality controls to ensure consistent performance and compatibility with approved fittings and accessories.
Selecting the correct hose for the intended gas is essential for safe and efficient operation. Different gases require suitable hose materials, so the correct type should always be used. Any non-standard or specialised application should be assessed and approved prior to use.
Hose length and fittings can influence flow performance, potentially resulting in pressure loss. This should be considered when setting up equipment and adjusting regulators. For higher flow requirements or extended hose lengths, a larger internal diameter hose (such as 10 mm) is recommended to maintain consistent delivery.
Clear identification through colour coding, along with specific thread directions for different gas types, helps reduce the risk of incorrect connections and supports safer operation.

Safety Information
In accordance with Australian Standard AS4839 (safe use of oxy‑fuel gas systems), hose length for each gas should not exceed 15 metres or must be limited to a length that allows the operator to maintain visual contact with the gas cylinders—whichever is shorter.
Where a continuous hose is not practical, sections may be joined using compliant fittings, provided the total hose length does not exceed 15 metres.
If hose lengths extend beyond this, the operator must ensure constant visibility of the supply cylinders in line with safety requirements.
